Many people regard travel as purely spending money.
I don’t think tourism is a waste, but I just see that some people travel in a way that is no different from “waste”.
Going to scenic spots in online celebrity, crowding in a sea of people, taking photos and punching in at a fixed camera seat-this kind of trip is for the purpose of producing films, but it can be regarded as achieving a certain goal.
Compared with those who think they have “seen the world” when they go out, at least they have gained photos that they can share and have a topic in the social circle, which is already a gain.
There are many more people, and travel is purely following the trend. I don’t quite understand: What is the significance of taking the path that others have taken and following the itinerary set by others step by step?
How different is it from watching the strategies, pictures and videos posted by others on the Internet?
Many people have no “experience” in their travels at all, but they just have a cursory look at them, and then they have the experience of “visiting here”.
This kind of trip is more like a mobile punch-in-card-it just gives you a few more geographical locations and makes your resume richer.
Some itineraries are called “seven days and eight countries”, and the compact arrangement is exciting at first glance. After all, not everyone has the time and opportunity to go to so many places at once.
But to be honest, most of the destinations on these itineraries, what you see on the spot, are almost exactly the same as what you see on the Internet.
In this case, wouldn’t it be easier to see the world through the screen instead of running hard?
The reason why most people’s travel is “unnecessary” is that they tend to spend for vanity. This vanity may not bring real satisfaction, nor may it make friends think that they are “really amazing”.
On the contrary, it is easy for people to get lost in showing off and gradually forget that the focus of life should be themselves.
Many tour groups will arrange intensive sightseeing in order to enrich their itinerary. A trip down is often physically and mentally exhausting, and people with poor physique may even get sick because of running around.
Travel is supposed to be a relaxing activity, but it turns into running back and forth because of too persistent “punching in”.
Such travel seems to enrich the life experience, but in fact it may also kill people’s curiosity and desire to explore the world.
Some people distinguish between “tourism” and “travel”: the former focuses on sightseeing, while the latter focuses on walking and discovery.
The satisfaction that ordinary people can get when they go out often comes from the fresh knowledge of the destination-just like tasting a certain fruit for the first time, the taste is novel.
However, as travel becomes more and more convenient, and the prices of many tour groups approach the cost, it seems that there is no threshold for travel-it seems that anyone can go out as long as they pay a month’s salary.
The novel experience is becoming more and more daily, but the feeling is easy to be numb. How many people go out and come back, but they can’t remember where they have gone?
The same landscape photos are just a background board you give to the world. The main character isn’t even yourself, but those glance-by views.
The reason why most people’s travel is “unnecessary” is that it keeps repeating-repeating the same mood. Even the carefully edited circle of friends is not to record the present, but to expect someone’s praise at the moment of clicking “Send”.
